When buttons are pressed, the radio plays audible confirmation and the control buttons can be easily identified as one is convex and one is concave, making it suitable for the blind.
The USB socket can play your favourite music and talking books including the RNIB talking book service (USB stick not included).
Only the essential buttons are on show, the more detailed buttons for setting are concealed beneath a flap for simple everyday use and an uncomplicated look. The one touch radio pre-set buttons light up to assist users with impaired vision.
Relatives or carers can record personalised messages to play back at programmed times on a daily basis - ideal for appointments, pill reminders etc. You can record, store and playback up to 4 x 10 second voice memos.
